Secretary-General
Ithar Hassan

Hi! My name is Ithar Hassan, and I am more than glad to be Secretary-General for the sixth installment of LVMUN. I joined Model UN because initially I was dragged to the interest meeting by a couple of my friends. By the end of the session, I knew that it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my high school career. I love learning about global topics, and I am continually expanding my knowledge about international affairs. For the past two years, I have gone on medical missions to Sudan with my mother, and it taught me that there is still so much more that needs to be done in the world. Being in the position we are, we can help others who don't have a voice across the globe. Along with MUN, I take part in NHS, Young Democrats, and Partner's Club. When I'm not doing schoolwork, I enjoy getting coffee with my friends, spending time with my family, and watching films. I can't wait to see you all in January, and if you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Director-General
Maria Falzarano

Hello, my name is Maria Falzarano, and I am so excited to serve as your Director-General l for LVMUN VI! I am currently a senior at Loudoun Valley and part of NHS, The Green Team, and Young Dems. I started MUN at the very beginning of my sophomore year, MUN has always grasped my interests from the moment I stepped into the interest meeting two years ago. I have met so many amazing people through the club, and have learned about the world around us, both the good and the bad. When I'm not stressing over my GPA, I'm advocating for animal rights, less plastic waste, and menstrual equity. Our philanthropy clearly aligns with those values, and I am so excited to share it with you all in January. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, and I look forward to seeing everyone at LVMUN VI!
